Since the 1960s, Te Horonuku has been more than just a lodge — it’s been a community.

 Perched right on the Whakapapa skifield, we’re a member-run ski club that brings together skiers, boarders, and mountain lovers who value connection, contribution, and life on the snow.

Whether you’re a first-timer or a lifelong local, there’s a bunk, a meal, and a warm welcome waiting for you here.

NOTES

REJOINING members will be admitted to the same membership category as when they resigned with the exception of prior junior members who have obtained the age of 18 years (on 1 June of the year of application). In this instance, members will rejoin in Senior Wait List status; these and any other person rejoining in Senior Wait List status, must complete a work party for admission to full Senior membership status.
FAMILY is defined as “a maximum of two adults and their eligible dependent children”. Eligible dependent children/juniors are defined as between the ages of 4 and 18 years on 1 June of the year of application. All persons covered by the Family Joining Fee must be named on the same application form (children under four may be named but will NOT be permitted to stay in the club or be entered on the membership roll until they attain the age of 4).
TOTAL JOINING FEE payable will be confirmed by invoice from the committee on acceptance of this application. The principal applicant will be advised if, at the committee’s discretion, this total differs from the total submitted on this form. Note: the one off joining fee does not include additional costs such as: (i) annual
subs, (ii) annual work party levies, (iii) nightly rates.
Name of Proposer and/or Seconder may be left blank. Appropriate members to propose/second, after an initial visit to the club as a guest, will be arranged by the committee.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Receipt of this application will be acknowledged by the Club.
Approved applicants will be advised of their admission to the appropriate Membership status and will be liable for payment of the joining fee (if applicable) and current annual subscription.
Te Horonuku Mountain Sports Club Inc reserve the right to decline any membership application. Admission to full Senior Membership status will be subject to:
- vacancy in membership,
- completion of 2 work party days (if not previously completed),
- final approval by the Committee.
